Map, Missions, and Mission Information

In this clickthrough pink buttons and text are used to denote the golden path. In this flow we begin at the overview screen. This clickthrough begins at a solar system map screen. The player has the ability to select from any of the orange glowing planets to travel to. Each planet has its own set of lore, characters, missions, and additional information that all may be relevant to the player. The level of detail in these data sets was very deep so it was important as the player progressed through each of these data sets that we pre-identified what questions they might have as they read -- Who is this? Where are they again? What mission was this for? Can I just launch this mission from here? ect. The goal was to make it simple and easy for the player to easily access relevant information and take action with only a click or two regardless of where in the flow they were.
