Rule Beyond the Ring

I had the pleasure of getting to work on another WWE release this year. One of my favorite parts of working on this project is the breadth of types of work I get to do. Shown here is just a small sample of the fun stuff I got to work on throughout this cycle. I got to help in developing our 'modern glitch kit' aesthetic, and translating that into visuals, animations, atomic asset kits, style/motion guides and more. I got my hands on just about every part of the game. Main flow, MyFaction, MyGM, MyRise, Showcase, Universe, the Create Suite, and more. I was able to help out just about everywhere this year. It was truly a blast. Shout out to an amazing team who somehow manages to one-up themselves year over year on a colossal amount of content that goes into each new WWE release.

New Main Menu UX

One of the goals for 2K25 was to rebuild the Main Menu. The inspiration was a Netflix style menu that had menu tiles anchored to the bottom third of the screen and scrolled infinitely left to right. There are some interesting navigation edge cases and behaviors that if done poorly could make this type of menu feel really bad to use. I put together the UX flow to outline important expectations to make we executed this new menu in a way that both felt familiar and looked good for our players.
