This piece was originally done as an assignment for an Art History class. The assignment was to create a piece, with any medium, with any subject matter as long as it related somehow to art, art history or history. I had recently seen the movie called Horsemen, and this was also around the time that the video game Darksiders was released. I also just happened to have done a report on a woodcarving depicting the four horsemen of the apocalypse by Albrecht Drurer. So needless to say it was an easy choice picking the direction for the piece. There are a few subliminals worked into this piece, see if you can find them.
