So for the tenth time in the last four moths, I’ve decided to redesign my site. Each time I work on another redesign, I feel like each individual design is in some way, shape or form an experiment in a different design direction. For example, the most recent design before this one was very minimalist and grid heavy. I wanted to let the grid, type, and work do the talking. When I did that design I had just finished an internship at a design firm where all the work I did was super minimal and corporate. I never did a print design that was more than a two color. Doing that and only that for three months was a heavy influence in that design. But this design is me getting back to my roots, sort of. I think this design injects a lot more of my personality and design style. I can design in any kind of style as my internship showed, but when I design for myself I think this is the way the work generally leans towards.
